A meteoroid hurtles though space at a speed of 12 to 72 kilometers per second. Its temperature surges as it enters the Earth’s atmosphere, scattering the skies with star dust and meteor showers. Xavier Lavergne Ateliers' first piece in this collection is inspired by the imaginings of meteorites from far-flung corners of the solar system crashing exuberantly to Earth.
